This section includes information regarding the Fund's policies, strategies and governing bodies.
Leicestershire County Council Pension Fund is managed and administered by Leicestershire County Council in accordance with the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) Regulations 2013. At a national level, the LGPS is governed by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and the LGPS Advisory Board.
The Local Pensions Committee has delegated responsibility for taking decisions about the management and administration of the Fund on behalf of Leicestershire County Council.
The Local Pension Board assists the council with the governance and administration of the fund.
