Local Pension Committee

The  Local Pension Committee | Democracy is responsible for the governance of the Leicestershire County Council Pension Fund, which includes considering and approving Fund Policies. The committee is also responsible for setting the overall strategic investment policy of the Fund at its Annual Strategy Meeting in January, some of the more detailed elements of the implementation of this policy are dealt with by the Investment Subcommittee | Democracy which is a smaller sub-set of the membership of the Committee.

The Committee meets quarterly and considers various reports including investments and the fund risk register. An Annual General Meeting is held at County Hall, usually in December. See a summary of the previous AGM | Democracy
