Leicestershire County Council Pension Fund (the Fund) would like to update you regarding recent correspondence you may have received from the Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC), which we are aware all LGPS funds have also received.
Further to my bulletin dated 5 January 2024, I just wanted to remind you that the deadline for the submission of the new employer discretions template is 31 March 2024
Scheme employers are required to publish and keep under review a statement of policy to explain how they will apply certain discretions that exist within the LGPS regulations.
Pension Fund has approved a consultation with employers on proposed changes to the Funding Strategy Statement (FSS) in connection with the new Regulations regarding employer risk that came into force on 23 September 2020.
Following on from Bulletin 13 highlighting the consultation about the proposed changes, there have been some further developments, and this is our latest understanding.
