Bulletin 1: Net Zero Climate Strategy Consultation Reminder

The consultation on the draft Net Zero Climate Strategy (NZCS) will close on midnight 5 February 2023.

Further to Bulletin Issue 12, dated 21 November 2022 we are looking for employers (as well as scheme members) views on the Fund’s draft Net Zero Climate Strategy, in recognition of the effect of climate change on the Fund. We would ask that employers produce a single organisational response.

Further information including the consultation link, the Draft Net Zero Strategy, and a summary document are available on the climate change and investment risks page.

We would also be grateful if you could share this information via your own internal bulletin arrangements to notify scheme members of the consultation.

The consultation will close midnight on 5 February 2023 so please take the time to have your say. The outcome will be fed back to the Local Pension Committee on 3 March 2022.
