Bulletin 10: Pension Fund responsible investment survey
Leicestershire County Council Pension Fund (the Fund) has launched its consultation to provide scheme members, employers and other stakeholders with an opportunity to provide their views on a range of responsible investment issues.
The Fund manages £6.7billion of investments on behalf of over 100,000 scheme members and 200 employers to meet the costs of paying scheme member benefits in retirement.
The Fund previously engaged on key targets and the development of the Net Zero Climate Strategy in 2022/23 which the majority supported the proposed approach.
We are now looking to hear your views on the Fund’s approach to investment in relation to environmental, social and governance factors, and how we manage climate risk as part of an upcoming review into the Fund’s climate strategy. These views will be considered as part of the development of Fund policies and engagement with our partners and investment managers.
We would ask that employers produce a single organisational response by 5 January 2026. Please submit a response to our online survey
We are also engaging with all scheme members and would encourage you to share this with your employees via their intranet sites.
