If you are in receipt of a pension from the fund (as a pensioner or a dependant), please find this year’s Pension Increase letter in My Pension. Once logged into your account, the letter can be found under ‘Documents and Uploads’ and then ‘Fund documents and forms’.
As you will be aware from bulletins 7 and 9, the Government has introduced changes to the LGPS to make the Scheme fairer for all members. Most changes took effect from 1 April 2026, and some improvements also applied retrospectively.
Further to Bulletins 7 and 9, we now also have a news article aimed at informing and explaining the changes to members of the pension scheme.
In order to ensure that your employees are aware of these changes, we would be grateful if you could pass the link for this news item on to your employees who are in the LGPS, by publishing on your own internal network, by email, or whichever other means you have available.
