Bulletin 15: Notice of pension fund AGM

Leicestershire County Council Pension Fund Annual Meeting on Monday 14 December at 12pm.

Please note due to current circumstances this meeting will be held virtually, to register your interest please email democracy@leics.gov.uk, details of how to join will be circulated in the preceding week.

The Leicestershire County Council Pension Fund will hold its first virtual Annual Meeting on Monday 14 December at 12pm. The meeting is open to all members of the Leicestershire County Council Pension Fund, including active contributors, deferred members and pensioners. The meeting will include a presentation of the 2019/20 annual report and the staff representatives’ report. There will also be a vote for employee representative positions on the Local Pension Committee and the Local Pension Board if required.

The employee representatives who are appointed (who must be current contributors, deferred members or pensioner members of the pension fund), will then be invited to attend meetings of the board / committee to which they are appointed. Each candidate should be nominated in writing or via email, stating his/her full name and post, signed by the person proposing the nomination and a seconder, who must both be members of the Fund. The nomination should state whether it is for the Local Pension Committee or the Local Pension Board. These nominations should be sent to the Chief Executive, Democratic Services, Leicestershire County Council, County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester LE3 8RA or democracy@leics.gov.uk by Friday 27 November.
