Bulletin 4: Consultation on the Draft Investment Strategy Statement 2026

At its meeting on 30 January 2026, the Local Pension Committee agreed to consult employers on the Draft Investment Strategy Statement (ISS) 2026. The draft ISS reflects expected regulatory changes, including developments arising from the Fit for the Future proposals and the transition of implementation responsibilities to LGPS Central (the investment pooling company) from April 2026.

We are now inviting all scheme employers to review the draft ISS and provide feedback as part of the formal consultation process. The consultation will remain open until 5:00pm on Friday 27 February 2026.

Feedback will be considered and is planned to be presented to the Local Pension Committee meeting, scheduled on Friday 20 March 2026.

The draft ISS and supporting committee paper are attached.
