Bulletin 10: More details about the Pension Fund Net Zero Climate Strategy

Further to Bulletin Issue 9, dated 6 July 2022, we are looking for employers’ (as well as scheme members’) views to help us prepare our Pension Fund Net Zero Climate Strategy, in recognition of the effect of climate change on the Fund. We would ask that employers produce a single organisational response: this may be best provided by a senior finance officer in your organisation.

We have produced a new document that provides additional information designed to aid your understanding of the issues involved in the Net Zero Climate Strategy.

The engagement will run from 5 July to midnight on 18 September 2022.

The outcome of this engagement will be fed back during the creation of the Fund’s Net Zero Climate Strategy and to the Local Pension Committee on 18 November 2022. It is the intention that the draft Strategy will then be put out for further engagement.
